Have you had that "I think my brand is outdated" moment? If you have, it could be time for a brand refresh.

Here at Alara Design Studio, we have gone through two brand refresh periods. Not necessarily because the brand was out of date, but because we felt our target audience and clientele was moving in a different direction, which triggered a much-needed brand refresh.

There are a few signs to look out for that could be pushing you towards a brand refresh.

1. Your business and/or offerings have changed or evolved

If you are offering something new/different than when you started your business, your brand may need to be adjusted to reflect the new offerings.

2. You are looking to connect with a new audience

Are you taking your business in a new direction and looking to connect with a different audience? Then you are definitely in need of a change. Your brand should be catered to the type of audience you are working with, which means if your audience changes, so should your brand.

3. You are embarrassed to show off your brand

If you are embarrassed to give out your business card or scared to show off your website, it’s time for an update. You should be proud of your brand and how it represents your company as a whole, not afraid to show it off.

Remember: An updated brand, is a relatable brand!
